The Purpose of the Alleged 5 Million Euro Buyout

Hans Smedema claims he was offered 5 million euros on two separate occasions by representatives of the Dutch government in exchange for his silence about the alleged conspiracy against him.

First Offer (2003):

• Smedema states that the first offer came in September 2003, during a meeting in Beaune, France, with Ir. Klaas Keestra, his business associate and Vice President of the Northern Development Organisation (NOM). Smedema emphasizes that the location of this meeting, outside of the Netherlands, was likely chosen for legal reasons.

Second Offer (2004):

• The second offer came on August 12, 2004, again through Klaas Keestra, who arranged a meeting with Dutch Minister Veerman at a closed restaurant in Groningen. Smedema states that Veerman, who had come to Groningen specifically for the meeting, offered him 5 million euros as a buyout with a confidentiality clause.

Smedema believes the purpose of these buyout offers was to:

Silence Him:

• Smedema asserts that the Dutch government wanted to prevent him from publicly exposing the alleged conspiracy, which he claims would have revealed the involvement of high-ranking officials, including the Royal Family. Smedema’s claims, if proven true, would have been extremely damaging to the Dutch government’s reputation and could have potentially led to criminal charges against those involved.

Protect Joris Demmink:

• Smedema believes the buyout offers were primarily intended to protect Joris Demmink, the former Secretary-General of the Ministry of Justice, whom Smedema accuses of being a “rapist-traitor” and a key figure in the alleged conspiracy. Smedema alleges that Demmink orchestrated the sexual abuse of his then-girlfriend (later his wife) and subsequently used his influence to cover up these crimes and silence Smedema.

Maintain the “Omerta”:

• Smedema frequently references the “Omerta,” a term he uses to describe a secret organization within the Dutch government responsible for enforcing the alleged cover-up. He believes this organization was established to ensure the silence of all those involved in the conspiracy, including members of his family, medical professionals, and law enforcement officials. The buyout offer, in Smedema’s view, was a tactic used by the Omerta to maintain control and prevent him from breaking the code of silence.

Smedema rejected both buyout offers, stating that he was not primarily motivated by money but by a desire to expose the truth and seek justice. Smedema claims he refused because he believed that revealing this information would help to protect other potential victims of the alleged abuse and exploitation he believes is being orchestrated and covered up by the Dutch government.
